When a two-year old begs you to sew with him, with cookie breath and a wide-eyed please, are you going to disappoint?
Having nothing loaded on the machine, we took scraps from the top of the pile and laid them down, willy-nilly, pell-mell, and just sewed. Nephew was in charge of needle-up/needle-down and scissor buttons. "[Nephew] do it! All by 'mself."
I didn't bother with an iron; an attentive nephew will quickly turn to a crazy beast if you keep removing him from his perch on your lap to press seams. I used fingers instead as we admire our work and plotted the next scrap.
Decent improv piecer, that Nephew. I figure he'll be entering shows by six. :)
oh YIKES!! Even a 2 year old can do improv better than I can !! Maybe I need to find my "inner child" LOLReplyDelete
Now that is impressive! 6? I'd say 4!ReplyDelete
Cute!! I remember sewing with my son on my knee a couple of years ago when he was 3 :)ReplyDelete
Excellent! Nothing like sparking creative interest in a child. And he has put some fab fabrics together. Could it be something to do with an amazing stash?ReplyDelete
Muito bom! A criança tem muito potencial! É bom estimular isto!ReplyDelete
I'm with Flo! Maybe I should eat some cookies!ReplyDelete
*applauds wildly* bravo, little guy!ReplyDelete
Awwww. Really cuteReplyDelete
He did an awesome job!ReplyDelete
That's adorable. Sounds like such a cutie. Lucky girl!ReplyDelete
He is amazing! You have passed on your talent!ReplyDelete
Nice work!!! On the random piece and encouraging your nephew to sew. I love it all!!ReplyDelete
That's so sweet!! I hope all is well in your world... miss you!!ReplyDelete
